Established in 1982, M R Horn set up as a hay and straw merchant supplying high-quality products to farmers, equestrian and domestic customers. We pride ourselves on our quality of product, value for money and a great service. Hay and straw supplier
We supply any size of bale, which can be delivered in the following sized loads:

Approx. 20 Tonnes a load (delivered on lorry and trailer), available for national delivery

Approx. 11 Tonnes a load (delivered on lorry) available for national delivery

20 - 200 bales (up to 4 Tonnes), available for local delivery in Okehampton and up to 100 miles from depot
A collection service is available directly from our depot in Okehampton, West Devon.
Transport
We have an international operator's licence enabling us to offer general haulage alongside transporting our own hay and straw product.
We currently run 4 lorry and trailers (draw bar outfits), a 44 tonne GVW and a 12 tonne GVW rigid. These vehicles are all flatbeds and have floor space of 8.4 metres, 7.1 metres and 6 metres. They are designed to transport a range of goods and are specialised for machinery. Each vehicle has ramps fitted for self-loading.
