Established in 1982, M R Horn is a Devon-based family business with a long-standing reputation for reliability, consistency, and professionalism. We are committed to supplying quality products, delivering on our promises, and building lasting relationships with our customers.
We specialise in the supply and delivery of hay and straw, while also offering general haulage services. Operating our own fleet of flatbed lorries and drawbar outfits, we provide dependable transport solutions for agricultural, commercial, and specialist loads, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery for our customers.
Headed by Martyn Horn, the business continues to uphold the values on which it was built: reliability, quality, and professionalism.
We operate from two depots in Devon, located in East Devon and West Devon. Both sites serve as collection points and operational bases for our delivery and haulage services, allowing us to support customers across the region and beyond.
Our Experience
Over 45 years of supplying hay and straw gives you a good understanding of what customers need and when they need it. We know the farms, the yards, and the roads. We understand the pressures of the agricultural calendar and the importance of reliable supply, particularly during harvest season when timing matters most.
We stock a range of hay and straw types in various bale sizes to suit different animals, operations, and requirements.
Our Fleet & Depots
M R Horn Transport Ltd operates a well-maintained fleet capable of handling everything from single-load deliveries to large haulage jobs. Our drivers are experienced in agricultural and rural deliveries, including access to farms and yards that present challenges for less experienced operators.
We operate from two depots in Devon. Both depots are accessible for large vehicles and offer a customer collection service.
